About the designers - I met André and Teo, the mentors and creators of Pickpocket®, at an outdoor art market in Guimarães, Portugal in October 2019.  This talented duo live in the heart of Porto, Portugal, right next to a mecca of shoe manufacturers. They craft their designs using a careful selection of genuine leather scraps that would otherwise be headed to a landfill.  Shoe manufacturing is a traditional industry in Northern Portugal.
